ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income Review:

Blogging is one of those buzz words which has been around for a few years and it sure seems that just about everyone and there dog has a blog.  The truth is despite everyone having a blog; only a select few actually make money from their blogs. For those bloggers who are looking to either start out or to consolidate on their knowledge then this book will certainly help. Now there are three versions of this book, the original 2008 the revised 2010 and the current 2012. We have read the current version that just has minor updates from the previous versions.  These two original versions sold thousands of copies worldwide for one very good reason, the book is incredibly helpful.

The first thing you look for when you are reading a book on a particular topic is whether or not the author has credible expertise to support his claims. Let me tell you right now Darren and Chris both have substantial experience and have made a small fortune from their web creation capabilities.

The book covers the entire process of starting out a blog, commencing with choosing a topic, setting up your blog, gaining traffic, and the monetizing the blog.

One of the key items you will learn from the ProBlogger Book is how important setting up the blog is.  If your blog is not in a very good niche, it will be impossible for you to ever rank on Google and get Google search views, the only way which you will get visits is from your own promotion and direct links to the website.  Some people are happy with this but others are completely unaware of this when they start. So picking a niche is crucial. To help you pick the right niche there are tools available, which will help, you make an informed decision and these are all listed in the book.

Another interesting point which people may not necessarily have thought of is the buying and selling of blogs. Once you get your blog up and running you can actually sell it and turn it into immediate profit. Or alternatively you can go out and buy a blog and skip all the hard work required initially.

After you have picked your niche you need to learn how to lure in new readers and even for the most advanced blogger this can still be challenging.  One thing, which this book really gets across, is that making money blogging is not something that happens immediately, as with most things making money online takes time. To increase your likelihood of success even more the best blogs focus on a very specific niche not something which is very broad, this allows a specific audience to find your website and to get the views you need. There is some technical components in the book so make sure you read them over twice if you think they are tough to understand.

Make sure you grab a copy and check out ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett.
